Currie® 9-inch Pre-Runner rear ends are meticulously crafted with the highest quality materials, ensuring you can trust in their durability and performance. With options for 3.5 or 4.0-inch tubes and a choice of semi-float or full-float configurations, you can rest assured that these rear ends are designed to meet any performance requirement for your mid-sized or full-sized pre-runner.

Pre-Runner Rear End Build Options:

 

3.5" Tube F9 Center

The American-made fabricated center features a high-strength fabricated A715 alloy steel center section with internal tube gussets and thick CNC machined face flange, with 3.5 x .375" DOM tubes, available with semi-float or full-float axles - all joined with strong, attractive MIG welds

4.0" Tube F9 Center

The American-made fabricated center features a TIG welded 4130 Chromly center section with internal tube and face flange gussets, clearance for up to a 10" ring gear, with 4.0 x .250" Chromoly tubes, available with 35 or 40-spline full-float axles only 

Optional Back Brace

If you plan on playing hard, the optional back brace will significantly increase the housing's strength and rigidity while adding a minimal amount of weight to the axle assembly

Billet Semi-Float Housing Ends

Available for the 3.5" tube F9 center only, Currie semi-float Ford new-style large bearing housing ends are CNC machined from billet steel. They accept standard Set20 axle bearings and are compatible with a wide range of aftermarket brake kits.

Semi-Float Axles

Available for the 3.5" tube F9 center equipped with semi-float housing ends, these Currie 35-spline semi-float Chromoly axles are perfect for a lightweight dual-duty street/desert pre-runner that requires an affordable solution or a brake package with a parking brake.

Semi-Float Brake Package

Available for the 3.5" tube F9 center with semi-float housing ends, select from a range of disc brake options in sizes from11 to 13 inches with integrated drum-in-rotor parking brakes

Desert Floater 2.5" Spindles

Available for 3.5 and 4.0" tube F9 centers, Currie Desert Floater 2.5" spindle snouts are manufactured in-house from billet 4340 Chromoly and then heat-treated for maximum strength. 

Desert Floater Hubs

Currie Desert Floater hubs feature billet aluminum bodies machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, heat-treated Chromoly 35 or 40-spline drive plates, tapered hub-centric caps, and bullet-nosed ARP 5/8" Chromoly studs. Shown with 14" x 1.25" vented Wilwood GT 72 rotors.

Full-Float Axles

Available for 3.5 and 4.0" tube F9 centers equipped with Desert Floater spindle snouts, Currie 35 or 40-spline full-floating axles are available in heat-treated Chromoly or thru-hardened 300M to meet any performance requirement

Full-Float 12" Disc Brakes

12" x 1.25" Wilwood Ultralite vented rotors with 4-piston forged Superlite calipers provide ample stopping power for midweight Pre-Runners and are a good match for the factory front disc brakes

Full-Float 14" Disc Brakes

14" x 1.25" Wilwood GT 72 vented rotors with 6-piston forged Superlite calipers provide the stopping power required to haul down heavy, full-sized Pre-Runners and are a good match for performance aftermarket front disc brakes

3.5" Tube F9 Center
